She was predeceased by: her father John Elo. She is survived by: her mother Phyllis Elo; her husband Mark Broholm; her children, Melanie Pieper (Michael) and Dan Broholm (Nicole); her siblings, John, Phil, Tim, Brian Elo, Gail Reno and Diane Buche; and her grandchildren, Max and Lucie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Karen's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
