It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia L. Schoon of Demotte, Indiana, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Schoon. She is survived by: her close friend Tina Woudema; her mother Pearl Hoffman (Lagestee); her siblings, Calvin Schoon, Cathy Abbring (John) and Curt Schoon (April); her nieces and nephews, Joy Kaluf (Jeremy), Kati Lapsley, Jennifer Schoon, Steve Schoon (Jodi), Jake Schoon and Shelby Morrison (John); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyssa Williams (Trevor), Lauren Kaluf, Jon Lapsley, Maci, Skyla and Leo Schoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cindy's name to the DeMotte Christian School.
