He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hanes and Nora Jean Hanes (Huser). He is survived by: his girlfriend April Robinson of Dale, IN; his son Alex Hanes (Breanna) of Daytona Beach, FL; and his siblings, Ronald Hanes (Brenda) of Thornville, OH, Roger Hanes of St. Meinrad, IN and Jacqueline Hanes of Dale, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
