He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Joseph, Sr. and Bertha Theresa Mettlach (Blaschke); his wife Phyllis; his sons, Albert Joseph Mettlach III and Craig Allen Mettlach (Mary Ann); and his brothers, Albert Joseph Mettlach, Jr. and Raymond Mettlach.
He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Stephens (Kelly) of Lamar, IN; his sisters, Rosemary Hensley of Edinburg, TX, Berneice Beamsley of Mcallen, TX and Laverne Mettlach of San Antonio, TX; his granddaughter Hannah Mariah Mettlach of Chicago, IL; and his daughter-in-law Mary Ann Neeb.
