He was predeceased by: his mother Maria; his former wife Anita; and his father Lazaro. He is survived by: his wife Laura Rodriguez; his children, Gabriel (Beth), Dalia (Rick), Leticia and Maria (Jorge); his grandchildren, Martin, Anthony, Lucinda, Jasmine, Bianca, Matthew, Dominic, Damian and Julianna; and his siblings, Ruben, Samuel, Juan and Linda. He is also survived by his numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Iglesia (3802 Elm St, East Chicago, IN 46312). Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (8178 Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
