He was predeceased by: his son Jack Freeman; his grandson David William; his parents, Freeman O'Conner and June O'Conner; his siblings, Charles O'Connor (late Karen) and Sharon Lucietta (late Tom); his parents-in-law, Herschel and Arneta Wise; his sisters, Lois Lute (Len), Phyllis (Chuck Eddins) and Janet (Charles Schneider); his brothers-in-law, Jan Wise, Victor Wise, Luke Carrabine, Theodore Misdom and James Szala; and his nephews, Danny Croy, Jeffrey Lute and Herschel Wise.
He is survived by: his significant other Catherine Wise (Kate) of John's Lutheran Church; his daughter Vicky; his grandchildren, Zim Rivas (Kylie), Catherine and Tyler Fanno; his great grandchildren, Lily and Ivy Rivas; his brother Donald O'Conner (Kookie); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Wise, Sarah Misdom, Martha Carrabine, Betty Szala and David Wise (Sue Mansbach).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jack's name to Trinity Lutheran Church, Hammond, Indiana, Trinity Lutheran Church, Crown Point, Indiana or a charity of your choice.
