With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Lakatos of Crown Point, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew W. Lakatos; her grandson Brian Feller; her parents, Stephen Begala and Mary Begala; her stepmother Elizabeth Begala; and her siblings, Stephen Begala (Mary), Mary Gjeldum (Carl), Eleanor Townsend and Elizabeth Pikul.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Lakatos of Valparaiso, IN, Lois Morgan (James) of Cedar Lake, IN and Dawn Bohman (late Stephen) of Canoga Park, CA; her grandchildren, Debra McGuire (Rich), Darrin Feller, Andrew Morgan (Melissa), William Morgan (Lori), James Morgan (Andrea), Stephanie Rickabaugh (Ryan) and Brittannie Bohman; her great grandchildren, Brandon Lind, Peyton Becker (Jon), Hope Feller, Ethan James Riley, Jacob Feller (Lauren), Adam Morgan, Nicole Faught (Wes), Trisha Morgan and William Morgan; and her great great grandchildren, Parker Feller and Tatum Becker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
