He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Scanlon Dicks and Ann Dicks; his siblings-in-law, Mildred, Alva Buckley, Joe, Larry and David Buckley; and his nephew Brent Buckley.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Buckley Dicks; his siblings, Alice Sessi (Tony) of Austin, TX, Amanda Richard (Vic) of Columbia, MO, Jim Dicks (Sarah) of Brownsburg, IN and David; his children, Shane Dicks (Hayley) of Great Bend, KS and Stacey Hartley (Adam) of Tipton, IN; and his grandchildren, Dalton Dicks, Parker Dicks, Emily Hartley and Jacob Hartley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Montgomery County 4-H Cattle Barn in care of Jason Gilliland, 400 Parke Avenue, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
