He was predeceased by: his parents, Foister Sowder and Marguerite Sowder (Renner); and his brothers, Jim Sowder and Keith Sowder. He is survived by: his wife Kay McCormick; his children, Shawna Raff of Cape Coral, FL and Scott Sowder (Lavinia) of Waterford, MI; his granddaughter Saraelliot Raff; and his siblings, Phil Sowder, Velma Peterson, Eunice Oliver, Joe Sowder, Ken Sowder and Tim Sowder.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
