He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Porterfield Sr. and Catherine Julia Twomey Porterfield; his wife Patricia "Pat" Delp Porterfield; and his siblings, Greg, Julie and Gail.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Porterfield (Susie), Scarlett and Heather; and his siblings, Steve, Kevin, Cappy, Delaree and Linda.
