We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2023, at the age of 87, Norman Franklin Surface of Crawfordsville, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Surface and Murrell Surface; and his siblings, Willis, Floyd Jr., Mildred Eyler and Velma Ingersoll.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Leonard; and his children, Steve Surface (Donna), Scott Surface (Lisa), Sherry Coudret (Dave) and Stephanie Deaton (Tom). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, T2T.org.
