It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva Grimes of Crawfordsville, Indiana, born in Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Grimes and Lydia Grimes (Elkins); his daughters, Sharon Bahney, Karen "Sue" Collins and Cheryl Gano; and his son-in-law Stan Collins.
He is survived by: his son Gary Grimes (Rhoda) of Crawfordsville; and his son-in-law Raymond Bahney of Lebanon. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
