He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Emerson and Martha Elrod Rhodes; his great grandchild Waylon; and his sisters, Betty Lou and Martha Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Albin Rhodes; his children, Anthony Rhodes of Corydon and Cynthia "Sis" Kintner (David) of Battletown, Kentucky; his siblings, David Rhodes (Lillian) of Corydon, Bill Conrad of Corydon and Ruby Rhodes of Corydon; his grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, Amanda and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Ian, Zoe, Henry, Isaac, Mallory and Lainey.
