She was predeceased by: her parents, Percil Prifogle and Florence Hilbert Prifogle; and her brother Gary Prifogle. She is survived by: her daughter Carmen Bothast (Russell) of Liberty, Indiana; her grandsons, Tyler Bothast of Liberty and Cody Bothast (Linsey) of Liberty; her great grandchildren, Alexis and Grayson Bothast; and her siblings, Billy Prifogle (Linda) of Brookville, Brian Prifogle of Connersville, Ruth Estridge (John) of Brookville, Barbara Taylor of Connersville and Brenda Prifogle of Connersville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Active in the community, Shirley donated her time at the Fayette Regional Health Hospice Care.
