He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wagner and Mae Weber Wagner; his son-in-law Jerry Gomez; and his siblings, Earl Wagner, Jr., Bill Wagner, Harold "Bud" Wagner, Virginia Leonard (Chuck) and Patricia Case.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Wagner; his children, René Porter (Greg) of Connersville, Connie Guerra (Fito) of San Antonio, Aaron Wagner of Connersville, Sean Wagner (Emi) of Angola and Adrienne Gomez of Carmel, Indiana; and his sister Dorothy Dudley of Texas. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
