He was predeceased by: his daughter Michelle Rios-Shepler; and his siblings, William "Bill" Shepler, Michael Shepler, Richard Shepler and Wendie Shepler.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Shepler; his son Aaron Shepler (Emily) of Willard; his brothers, Steve Shepler (Tammy) of Connersville and Darrell Morehead (Mary Beth) of Connersville; and his sister-in-law Mel Reeves of Christchurch. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
