He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tressler and Roberta Dobbins Tressler; his son Christopher; his sons-in-law, Rick Jones and John Vehslage; and his sister Betty Jo Tressler.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Tressler; his children, Penny Bonwell (Brett) of Omaha, Cynthia Jones of Connersville, Thomas Tressler (Pam Davis) of Connersville and Sharon Vehslage of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Lyndsay Zlomke (Kevin), Tyler Bonwell (Alissa), Kelsey Pirnie (Rob), Jake Bonwell (Emily), Brittany Doan (Carl), Brandon Jones (Alexyss), Ashlee Gribben (Jeremy), Brayton Tressler (Audrey) and Carmen Vehslage; his daughter-in-law Tammy Tressler (Jason Webb) of Connersville; and his siblings, Bruce Tressler (Peggy) of Rising Sun and Joan Lohrey (Ray) of Brookville. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 N Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Gabriel Church (232 W 9th St, Connersville, IN 47331).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel Church, the Connersville Lions Club, or Historic Connersville.
