He was predeceased by: his parents, Delver McCowan and Betty Jane Kelley McCowan; and his sons, Brandon and Casey McCowan. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kavanaugh; his children, Craig McCowan of Connersville and Sara Toth of Connersville; his stepson Chris Selke of Indianapolis; his siblings, Jack McCowan (Karen) of Kinston, Roberta McCowan of Connersville, Marilyn McCowan of Connersville, Kelly Byrd of Andersonville, Indiana. and Scott; and his sister-in-law Missy Kavanaugh of Connersville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
