Joseph Morgan Obituary
Joseph Earl Morgan, age 84 of Connersville, passed away at Reid Health in Richmond on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Born in rural Fayette County on February 21, 1938, he is the son of the late Harry and Allah Garwood Morgan.
On April 25, 1964, in Connersville, he married Marilyn Bannon. Mrs. Morgan survives.
Joseph served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1963 attaining the rank of Airman First Class and completed Air Training Command specializing in Aircraft Mechanic Jet One Engines.
He retired from Stant Manufacturing after over 30 years of service. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family, mushroom hunting, deer hunting, listening to bluegrass music and gardening. He was a member of the of the Rushville Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 2036.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters. Vickie Morgan and Lisa Reisert; granddaughter, Jesscia (David) Marcum; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Marcum, Adrianna Marcum, Jayce Marcum, and Kaycee Jo Marcum; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Catherine Lykins, Jennettie Meadors, Mildred Morgan and brothers, George Morgan, Harry Morgan, Jr., William Morgan, and Wayne Morgan.
Friends and family may gather at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street on Wednesday March 16, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. His nephew, Gary Meadors will officiate funeral services at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Columbia Cemetery.
