She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner Beck and Rheba Beck; and her sister Goldie Allamon. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas, Pansy, Virginia and James; her husband George Robert Dawson; her sons, Terry Allen Dawson of Connersville and Thomas Joseph Dawson of Houston, Texas.; her children-in-law, Deborah Dawson and Gregory Bergeron; her grandson Shane Dawson (Kayo); and her nieces and nephews, Crystal Dawson of Crosby, Bradley Dawson of Ardmore, Brooke Bainter (Amanda) of Connersville and Stacia Dawson of Fishers, Indiana.. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Jean asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry.
