Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Alan Nester (Connersville, Indiana), who passed away at the age of 67, on August 12, 2023. He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Randall; his sisters, Lillian and Sharon Nester; his parents-in-law, Vernon and Judy Isaacs; and his niece Jennifer Isaacs.

He is survived by: his mother Pauline Nester (Teel); his wife Lu Ann; his daughters, Kara DeBoard (Clayton) and Rebekah Ashley Cerqua (Gary); his grandsons, Carter DeBoard, Kolton DeBoard, Cooper DeBoard, Kaden DeBoard and Mac Cerqua; his brother Leslie Nester (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Lori McFarland (Tim) and Jeff Isaacs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Nester family in honor of George Nester to be used for a future graduating Spartan.
