He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Vail Grubbs; and his brother-in-law Harry Fryar. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nobbe of Alquina; his children, Charles Nobbe (Renee), Linda Naylor (Jim), Carol Grubbs and Donna Mathews (Jeff); his siblings, Wilma Fryar, Robert Nobbe (Darlene), Werner Nobbe (Alice) and Paul Nobbe (Joyce); and his grandchildren, Chris Nobbe (Kayla), Steven Nobbe (Ashley), Nick Nobbe (Rholanda), Dan Naylor (Hayley), Curt Naylor (Jessica), Joni Doig (Bill), Andy Grubbs, Amanda Grubbs, Sarah Grubbs, Mark Mathews, Jennifer McCashland (Levi), Melissa Dare (Mike) and Krista Oler (Wes). He is also survived by 30 great grandchildren.
