He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassel Burke and Mildred Mosley Burke; his siblings, Charles Burke (Patricia), Gordon Burke (Joyce) and Barbara Sue Johnson (Homer); his nephews, Timothy Holbrook, Christopher Burke and Brent Burke; and his brother-in-law Zee Holbrook.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Lynch Burke; his son Gregory Burke (Rachel); his grandchildren, Jennifer Fox, Kelly Austin Dawson (Myriah) of Connersville, Kaitlyn Neuman (Ryan) of Rushville, Matthew Burke (Shyrayne) of Connersville, Clark Mains of Connersville and Adam Fox of Connersville; his great grandchildren, Allie, Benjamin, Ava, Annie Neuman of Rushville, Liam and Landon Dawson of Connersville; and his siblings, Danny Burke (Rose) of Connersville, Billy Burke (Pat) of Auxier, KY, Joyce Holbrook of Laurel and Fayetta Caudill (Tivis) of Wheelwright, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Children's Hospital in honor of his grandson, Adam Fox.
