He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth A. Poffenberger of Symsonia, KY, P. Scott Poffenberger, Jr. of Flat Rock and Jennifer M. Heichelbech (John) of Columbus; his grandsons, Samuel, Elias and Julian Heichelbech; and his sisters, Elizabeth Huffman and Evalina Smith.
