She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles V. Walters and Gladys F. Ward Walters; her husband John R. Combest; her daughter Salley Ann Combest Spurgeon; her granddaughter Julie Perez; her great grandchild Karolina Spurgeon; her siblings, Kenneth F. Walters and Betty Johnson; and her half-siblings, Charles Thurman Walters and Hazel Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Bridgwater (Eric) of Wellington, KS, Nancy J. Perez (Johnny) of Columbus, Brenda L. Perez (Tomas) of Columbus and John W. Combest (Melissa) of Douglass, KS; and her siblings, Donald Walters (Doris), Billy Walters and Patty Allman. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
