He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bunton and Mildred Fivecoat Bunton; and his sister Rose Gay. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bruce; his children, Josh Bunton (Troy Burns) of Franklin and Rita Johnson (Monica Bova) of Santa Fe, Texas; his grandchildren, Tyler Hodapp and Emalyn Johnson; his great grandchild Oscar Eugene Hodapp; and his siblings, Tammy Smith (Norman) of Columbus, Gene Hogan (Penny) of Columbus, Earl Hogan (Susie) of Florida and Garth Bunton of Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
