She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold F. Kyler and Carrie J. Kyler (Evard); her husband Robert H. Bird; her son Jon Robert Bird; her siblings, Richard, David, James, Harold F. Kyler Jr. and Mary Phillips; and her son-in-law Cecil Meade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vonna Bird of Decatur, Glenna Meade of Warsaw and Wanda Crowell (Larry Clifton) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Jami Mullins, Eric Mullins and Chase Copeland; her great grandchildren, Alix Greer (Drew), Colin Mullins (Ashley Murphy) and Gracie Menike; and her great great grandchildren, Brian, Ander and Lennon Greer.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Downs Syndrome Foundation.
