With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Sue Mettler of Columbia City, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Katherine Mettler (North) and James Mettler; her stepfather Bertis Ralph Gebert; her brother-in-law Wayne Phillips; and her great-nephew Andrew Mettler.

She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Plew (Robert), Judy Phillips, James Mettler (Bonnie) and Denny Mettler (Krista). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews; and great-great-nieces.

Memorial donations may be given in memory to Passages.
