He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bruner and Eleanor Davies (Harvey); and his grandson Dustin L. Stout. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Davies August (Smith); his children, Susan L. Dessauer (Brian K.), Loraine Garner (Brad W.), David A. Stout (Deborah Law), Bradley L. Stout (Jeanette), Steven B. Norris and Kerry L. Stout (Wendy); and his sisters, Sharon Moore of Indianapolis and Amber Peterson of Palm Harbor, FL..
