He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pickens and Dorothy Pickens (Ruark). He is survived by: his children, Tracy Pickens (Michele) of Greencastle, Brian Pickens (Kathy) of Overland Park, KS, Lanny Pickens (Sharon) of Adrian, MI and Beth Hurt (John) of Avon, IN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
