He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Gilbert and Blanche Gilbert (Jackson); his brothers, Joe and Larry Gilbert; his wife Kathy Gilbert (Wheeler) of Clinton; his children, Adam Gilbert of Clinton, Cody Gilbert (Skyler) of Clinton and Taylor Brann (Kevin) of Clinton; his siblings, Richard Gilbert (Maggie) of Clinton, Tom Gilbert (Toni) of Blanford, Debbie Nestler (Scott) of Clinton, Annie Walters of St. Bernice and Betty Cox of North Carolina; his sister-in-law Kristi Gilbert of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Aydan, Payge, Emma, Annabelle, Tanner, Oliver and Ophelia.
