She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Powers and Nora Frances Kinser (Powers); her husband Jean "Pincher" Newton; her granddaughter Gina Marshall; her great grandchild Von Helsper; and her son-in-law Keith R. Helsper.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Jean (Kay Newton), Jerry Ray Newton (Jennifer Newton) of St. Bernice, Teresa Helsper of Danville, IN, Marsha (Jim Spencer), David Allen (Linda Newton), Angela Marie (Andrew Supra) and Michele Ann (Tony Knoderer); and her brother Howard Boling of Saltillo, IN.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post #108, Senior Citizens Center, St. Bernice Baptist Church, or charity of choice, in Marceda's name.
