He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Christopher Gerth (Kari) of Lewis, Indiana., Courtney Vercauteren (Mike) of Johnston and Meagan Granger (Marcus) of West Lafayette, Indiana.; and his grandsons, Wyatt Gerth of Lewis, Cooper (Spencer Vercauteren) and Makiyah Granger of West Lafayette, Indiana..
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in his honor in lieu of flowers, to the Visiting Nurses Association and Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
