He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hutson and Margaret Hutson (Ogle). He is survived by: his wife Dolly Hutson; his children, David Hutson of Clinton, Jesse of Arizona and Melissa of Arizona; and his brother Vaughn Hutson of Clinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
