He is survived by: his children, Edward Whitaker Jr. (Cathy) of Clinton, Dave Whitaker (Leslie) of Terre Haute, Tom Whitaker (Darcy) of Oregon and Beth Karanovich (Rob) of Saint Bernice; his grandchildren, Zac Karanovich, Veronica Moturi, Jacob Jackson, Kaleb Whitaker, Kaylyn Whitaker, Taylor Whitaker, Noah Whitaker, Jordan Whitaker and Madi Whitaker; and his great grandchildren, Myllee, Maddox Moturi, Ruth, Miriam Karanovich, Layla Jackson, Lennon and Marcy Whitaker. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
