He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Strobel and Jean Pugh (Strobel); and his brother James Strobel. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Aten of Clinton; his sons, Christopher Strobel (Kimberly) of Cincinnati and Gregory Strobel of Denver, Colorado; his sister Sarah Strobel of Brazil, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Angela, Anya Strobel, Madlen Strobel and London.
