Oaks Sr. and Ruth Mae Clines Oaks; his wife Suzanne; his siblings, Wallace, Arkie Oaks Sr., Vickie Frazier, Tillie Cardin, Tessie Cardin, Ollie Collins and Betty Dilsaver; his cousin Pee Wee Rickey; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Maloon and Richard Dilsaver.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe Oaks (Brandy) of Rockville and Charlie Oaks (Laura); his siblings, Jack Oaks (Georgia) of Rockville, Woozie Maloon of Terre Haute and Suzie Merrit (Dave) of Texas; his grandchildren, Charlie, Joey, Minnie, Mae and Colorada; and his great grandchildren, Cody, Sunni and Christian Jean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
