Faye Elmore Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Faye Elmore of Clayton, Indiana, who passed away on October 30, 2021 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Pettitt and Mary Pettitt (Hill); her spouse Glendon E. Elmore; her children, Sam Elmore, Kaye Alexander and Gaye Brown; and her siblings, Frances Chambers, Lula "Toots" Prether and Burchard Pettitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Lula Armstrong (Elmore); her son-in-law Richard Armstrong of Plainfield; and her grandchildren, Sheryl Bass (Armstrong), Mike Armstrong, Susie Cole, Jon Alexander, Judy Gibbs (Alexander), Johnny Elmore, Amy Elmore, Bob Elmore, Kitty Kaufman, Kelly Farris and Samantha Elmore. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, 3 great great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Clayton, 4797 Iowa St. Clayton, In. 46118, or any non-profit that supports Faye's love of animals.
