With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie (Conley) Watkins of Chesterton, Indiana, born in Swampton, Kentucky, who passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Boone Conley Sr. and Lizabeth Conley; her siblings, Minnie Allen, Rena Bradley Swafford, Daniel B. Conley Jr. and Dewey M. Conley; her former husband Rev. Clay Watkins Sr.; and her great grandchild Matthew Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Watkins of LaPorte, Clay Watkins Jr. (Christine) of Chesterton and Michael Watkins (Lori Truesdell) of Otis; her grandchildren, Shannon Watkins-Moore (Josh Arimura) of Pahrump and Clay Allen Watkins (Misha) of Lafayette, IN; her great grandchildren, David, Emily and Erin Moore; and her great great grandchildren, Avery and Parker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
