He is survived by: his child Rick; his wife Kay Jeannine Aichele (Norzinskay); and his children, Richard Aichele, Kristen Elson (Rick) and Lauren Aichele.

Richard "Dick" Aichele passed away peacefully on May 31, 2018 at the age of 88 after a battle with Alzheimers.
