We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2023, at the age of 91, Gerry Fortner (Carmel, Indiana), born in Rockville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl Fortner and Ruby Fortner (Schneider); his wife Sherry Fortner (Bowman); and his siblings, Otis, Bob, Carl, Richard, Marjorie, Betty Timmons and Mildred Pendergast.
He is survived by: his sister Helen Fortner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made to The Garden, Parke County Foundation or the Central Indiana Community Foundation/ Fortner Scholarship.
