We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Margaret Helena Applegate of Camby, Indiana, born in La Porte, Indiana. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Margaret Helena Applegate to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Applegate (Heckard) and George Harding Applegate Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, George H. Applegate, Jr. of Griffith, Indiana and Diane Brands (Allan); and her sister-in-law Carolyn Ferry Applegate of Lansing Illinois. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews, two great great nephews, well loved cousins, and treasured friends.

In lieu of flowers, individuals are invited to donate to the scholarship fund of St. Stephen's ELCA at 1001 Concord Road, Plainfield, Indiana 46168. Others may wish to contribute to the Indiana University School of Nursing fund for a Professorship in Health Care Ethics at the IU Foundation at PO Box 500, Bloomington, Indiana 47402 with "SON Ethics Professorship" on the memo line, or a charity of personnel choice.
