She was predeceased by: her mother Phyllis Newman Mercer; her granddaughter Claire Griffey; her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Lillie Griffey; and her niece Linsey Susalla.

She is survived by: her father Robert Mercer; her husband Dan; her stepsons, Mark Griffey, Michael Griffey (Cara) and Thomas Griffey (Amanda); her grandchildren, Liliana, Emma, Noah, Joseph, Eli, Lilah and Joshua; and her sisters, Denise Fox (Terry), Wanda Cox-Fairley (Arthur) and Vonnie Swim (Jeff). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church in Teresa's honor.
