She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ellis and Laura Ellis (Douglas); her brother Pat Ellis; her niece Linda Jo Ellis; and her cousins, Tim Wade and Alan Cox.

She is survived by: her sister Kathy O'Bryan (Bob); her sister-in-law Sue Ellis of Indianapolis; her nieces, Amy Mitchum (Terry), Molly Newkirk (Greg) and Karen Sprague (Eric); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Phillips, Gabby Mitchum, Abby Mitchum, Madison Newkirk, Casey Mitchum, Emily Newkirk, Ryan Newkirk and Patrick Sprague; her cousin Bill Wade (Beth); and her close friends, Janet Sebren of Corpus Christi, TX and Sharon Sanders of Muncie, IN..
