He was predeceased by: his children, Margaret Ann Mills and Gary Joseph Mills; and his siblings, Robert Mills, Sylvia McDaniel, Elizabeth Slattery, Vivian Bartholomew, Bernice Danaher and Florence Young.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Poynter of Georgia, Peggy Sabino, Nancy Herbert, Debra Lemming, John Mills and Don Mills; his sister Mary Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Herb Young and Wilma Mills.
The family does request memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research or the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception building fund.
