With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Thompson of Austin, Indiana, who passed away on March 7, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thompson and Mable Thompson (Deaton); his son Ronald Kevin Thompson; and his brothers, Tunis Thompson and Elmer Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Thompson; his children, Wallene Daggett of La Grande, Angie Thompson of Scottsburg, Valarie Borland of Seattle and James Dalton Thompson of Elizabethtown; his siblings, Johnny Thompson of North Vernon, Danny Thompson of North Vernon, Mike Thompson of Seymour, Lawrence Thompson of Ohio, Bobby Thompson of North Vernon and Eliza Davis of Seymour; and his stepdaughters, Linda Watson, Barbara Prince and Donna Hollan Wade. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
