She was predeceased by: her brother Jimmy Eugene Vest. She is survived by: her parents, Donald Turpin of Indianapolis, IN and Virginia Wells (Lawrence E. Sweet) of Austin, IN; her husband Lawrence E. Sweet; her daughters, Loretta Hall (Joseph) of Austin, IN and Joanna Williams (Robert Dean) of Scottsburg, IN; and her grandsons, Robert "Bobbles" Hart Dean III, Gavin Michael Lee Dean and Marcus Williams.

The family requests that all memorial donations be given to the funeral home in memory of Tonya to help with funeral expenses c/o Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 138 Westavia Blvd., Scottsburg, IN 47170.
