It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Campbell of Austin, Indiana, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sherman Campbell and Zola (DeHart); his spouse Ara Campbell (Smith); his stepchildren, Freddy Joe Anderson (Wanda) of Austin, Indiana and Irene Anderson of Ohio; his siblings, Carl Campbell (Nancy) of Austin, Indiana, A. C. Campbell (Sally) of Austin, Indiana, Fred Campbell (Pearl) of Austin, Indiana, Paul Campbell (Pat) of Austin, Indiana, Elbert Campbell (Lois) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Leroy Campbell (Jean) of Austin, Indiana, Mildred Campbell of Hyden, Kentucky, Mary Colwell (Fred) of Austin, Indiana, Betty Hensley (Cecil) of Austin, Indiana and Viola Sego (Jimmy) of Austin; his stepchildren, Jessie Anderson and Waveleen McVey; and his sister Leona Bowling. He was also cherished by several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
