He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sampson and Joyce Sampson (Cook); his siblings, Angie Hughes, Lisa Meeks, Denise Torstick and Jeffrey "Jippy" Sampson; and his granddaughter Kassidy Michele King.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy King of Austin, Indiana; and his brother Nicholas "Nickey" Sampson of New Albany.
Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed.
