He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Kock and Madonna "Dot" Kock (Baker); his wife Mary "Linda" Kock; and his sister Lois Smurr. He is survived by: his sons, Rex G. Kock (Dawn) of Huntertown, IN and Greg A. (Shelby Kunk); and his siblings, Mike Kock of North Manchester, IN and Nancy Zimmerman of Butler, IN.
